Whenever I start up Kazaa or Limewire they both say that they arn't connected to the network. Any ideas on how to fix this?

The first thing that you should do is start Norton Internet Security. You should be able find the program in your Start Menu.
You should see a tab called Norton Internet Security.
Now click on Settings.
Find the category called Web Browsing and click on the sub-category called Personal Firewall.
Click on the option that says Configure.
Look to the left and go Personal Firewall -> Program Control.
We want to modify an existikazaang program rule instead of adding a new program to the list. So find any entries pertaining to LimeWire.
There should be drop-down menus next to each program. You will have choices similar to Allow, Block or Custom. Choose Allow for all of LimeWire entries.
Restart your computer so that your new settings can take effect.

Duh...YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE or the other because they use the same P2P for downloading. In this case, it's interwined with each other which will cause the program to not work at all. So uninstall one of them!
Ask the network administrator. It's possibly blocked.
